One-of-a-Kind Glass Chain Hanging Sculpture
This glass chain moves through a restrained, earthy palette—olive green, amber, smoke, and soft milky white—punctuated by quiet internal forms. Several links contain small, suspended elements that feel almost seed-like or cellular, embedded within translucent fields of color.
The sequence progresses deliberately: darker tones give way to luminous green glass, then return to shadow. Subtle bubbles and internal layers remain visible, emphasizing depth and process rather than surface polish. The final link resolves into a more complex composition, combining opacity, translucence, and circular detail.
Each element was cut from vessel remnants, refired, and cold-worked into its present form. Darkened metal connections allow the chain to hang freely and move gently with air, giving the piece a slow, living rhythm.
