This glass chain unfolds as a series of soft contrasts and internal discoveries. Milky white glass carries washes of aqua, pale blue, and violet, punctuated by embedded forms that feel floral, cellular, or orbital—appearing and disappearing as light shifts.
Several links feature suspended, flower-like murrini elements set within calm fields of color. Others transition into deeper violet or blue bands that ground the sequence before it opens again. A single warm circular element near the lower half acts as a visual anchor, drawing the eye inward before releasing it back into cooler tones.
The progression is gentle and deliberate, moving between clarity and density without urgency. Subtle bubbles, layered edges, and internal markings remain visible, reinforcing the sense of depth and the evidence of making.
Each link began as part of a vessel and was cut, refired, and cold-worked into its final form. Darkened metal connections allow the chain to hang freely and respond softly to air, giving the work a quiet, living presence.
